I know gurus like to complicate this stuff but it really is not that complicated. 
When it comes to online success. Most gurus say “You need to have 3 ingredients to build a successful online business” but that’s just not accurate.
Products – Traffic – Knowing How To Sell
Is a formula for failure because it’s incomplete and misleading at best.
Here’s a more accurate formula for online success:
Deliver what people Want or need – Attract Targeted Traffic – Create A Site That Sells – Build Relationships
This is huge. Did you noticed that there are not a whole lot of words added to the success formula? But those words will soon bring clarity to the “why” , instead of the regurgitated information overload of “how to”.
Now, I’ve purposely put the important stuff in bold red! Burn it into your memory and if you never come back here or purchase any product or service from me, you’ll still be light years ahead of your competitors if you just understand that slight shift in thinking above.
Let’s do this. Let’s move away from formulas and shift our thinking to something that might provide a little more clarity.
Think about locks.
Gurus like to tell you that they have the keys to success. Or they’ll say here’s the key to more this or better that.
I’m here to tell you that online success is more like a combination lock and a lot harder to open than a “key lock” but it’s also more secure. This is why most banks, as well as Fort Knox, use combination time locks.
Ever try to open a combination lock without having the numbers? It’s not going to happen. You can camp out in a bank all night long and never open that safe or vault. So let’s think about a combination lock analogy while searching for an online success strategy.
Like any combination lock, would you agree, you can have all the numbers of the combination and still waste precious time trying to unlock the lock because you just don’t have the proper order or sequence for the numbers?
That’s pure frustration! It happens with online business too. Think about that for a while. You’ve got all the right numbers to unlock the vault that holds your online destiny but there are a gazillion possible combinations. You might as well not even have the numbers to the combination.
What’s the definition of a “combination lock”? Let’s look it up in the dictionary.
a lock opened by rotating one or more specially marked dials a given number of times through a particular set of positions in a prescribed order and direction.
What? A number of times through a set of positions in a prescribed order?
Ah… now we know why most gurus just don’t get it.
Get ready to proceed in a prescribed order and direction.
