Sounds pretty silly doesn’t it? Who would ever create a dating website for nuns?
I would get a great “belly laugh” out of it if it weren’t so darn tragic and yet there are hundreds of site owners who build websites like this and then complain that they’re not making any money.
Seems like a no brainer, right?
Why this is a no-brainer:
- Most nuns are butt ugly so I would have to ask, “who would want to date a nun?”. But maybe you could go in a narrow niche and find some “butt ugly” men to match up with the nuns. So you would have very little targeted traffic.
- Nuns take a vow of celibacy and are already married to God so the chances of getting Nuns interested in your dating service is pretty slim but hey, you’ve got passion for relationships and religion and you want to go for it because of the powerful tools SBI offers, right? So you have very little interest in your products or services.
- In addition to abstaining from sex, Nuns take a vow of poverty, are not paid very well so they don’t have much money to spend above food and shelter expenses. But hey, maybe they’ll come to your site and click on some Adsense ads. So you really don’t have a site that sells.
So the bottom line is even if you could find some good looking nuns who would cheat on God, you still have a problem. Nuns don’t have much money to purchase products or services.
I don’t care how much passion you have for dating or how much passion you have for nuns, if you create a dating website for nuns I promise you your online business will fail.
Now here’s my question for you. Have you (or in the process of) created a website similar to a Nun dating service?
Of course not. You don’t sell a product or service that’s not in demand, do you? You don’t sell to a crowd of people with very little money, right?
And you surely do not cater to a group of people who have no interest in what you have to sell right?
